Assist. Electrical Engineer

Job Summary (Brief summary of Job Responsibility)

This position maintains electrical systems, inspect and assess potential faults in the system and rectify it. He/She also recommends changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality.

Job Description (List of task carried out)

1. Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.

2. Assist Electrical engineers on day to day job pertainng electrical maintenance works

3. Act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.

4. Perform regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality.

5. Responding to emergency calls of machine break down.

6. Conserving resources wherever possible.

7. Create and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures, parameter settings etc. for all major and essential plant equiment or machinery

Education Requirement

1. Bachelor Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institution

2. Vocational certification with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Skills Requirement

1. Experience working with manufacturing and packaging equipment.

2. Ability to operate machines and electrical measuring devices.
