Job Summary (Brief summary of Job Responsibility)
Perform inspections, checks, tests to evaluate incoming raw materials, in-process and finished goods. Perform review of final products to ensure quality specifications are always met.
Job Description (List of task carried out)
- Conduct particle size analysis for all plants, feedback to Production immediately and update report consistently.
- Conduct in-process quality control (IPQC) inspection at all manufacturing facilities: F1, F2 and F3 whenever required.
- Conduct moisture analysis, update and compile data for verification.
- Assist to handle customer feedback investigations/customer request or in-house product quality related issues.
- Assist in conducting microbiological and HPLC analysis.
- Assist in preparing work instruction, standard operating procedure for laboratory analysis, instrument/equipment handling protocol and checklists and IPQC monitoring procedures.
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness and good functionality of all laboratory, equipment and utensils.
- Update stock inventory for all analytical items used in laboratory.
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing; ensuring verification of all inspection reports and send to QC executive/HOD on-timely manner
- Responsible in reporting immediately to QC Executive/HOD any deviation or abnormalities detected during in-coming, in-process or daily monitioring process in all manufacturing facilities.
- Assist in checking and updating QC Executive on maintenance and calibration for all equipment, measuring instruments and gauges to ensure optimum functionality.
- Assist in checking and improving safety and quality control procedures within QC laboratory and IPQC inspection.
- Assist to verify QC checklist and do filing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Replace online QC when required.
- Perform all other duties maybe assigned to support continual improvement of Food Safety and Quality Management System i.e: undertaking short-term or long-term projects involving product quality improvement.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent.
- At least 1 working experience in Quality Control at manufacturing side.
Skills Requirement
- Sufficient knowledge of inspection and monitoring processes.
- Must be hardworking, trustworthy, meticulous, responsible and with good interpersonal skills.
- Can work with minimum supervision; and foster effective interaction with team members and staff from all level.
- Must have good written and verbal command of English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Good arithmetic skills are required.
- Punctuality, reliable, vigilant and willing to work well under pressure and meet tight schedules.
- Required to work safely, within the organization standard policies and procedures i.e.: Good Manufacturing Practice.
- General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Self-motivated to learn fast and ability to prioritize workloads and meet project deadlines.
- Willing to move around within workplace and perform IPQC task based on Production Department demands.
