Job Summary (Brief summary of Job Responsibility)

This position will be responsible for the proper and efficient operations and maintenance of electrical, air-conditioning, fire-fighting, refrigeration, HVAC and other mechanical & electrical services of the facility.

Job Description (List of task carried out)

1. Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, DOSH and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.             

2. Assist the operations and maintenance of the facility through in-house teams and specialist sub-contractors.    

3. Plan and perform preventive maintenance & reactive/corrective maintenance work to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failures, either through internal teams or subcontractors.    

4. Perform reactive and corrective maintenance during power failures or equipment breakdown.

5.  Attend to all power, equipment and machine failure and rectify accordingly.                                          

6.  Ensure installations are safe and legal.  

7. Supervise the work of facilities management team and subcontractors and ensure good operations and maintenance practices are always maintained.       

8. Ensure all statutory regulations are complied with as part of their duties.

Education Requirement

1. Electrical Chargeman AO Certificate with minimum 2 years of working experience or;   

2. Electrical Chargeman A1 Certificate with minimum 1 year of working experience.     

3. Must have completed minimum SPM or equivalent

Skill Requirements

1. AO Certificate- minimum 1 year of experience in handling Generator Sets (with synchronizing panel) and another 1 year in Overhead Line.     

2. A1 Certificate- Minimum 1 year of experience in handling Generator Sets (with synchronizing panel).
